Each week we take a close look at a comic book collectible. That means taking it out of the package. Guardians of the Galaxy is coming to theaters soon and we've been looking at several collections based on the Guardians. This week we're looking at another Guardians LEGO set--Knowhere Escape Mission.

This set has 433 pieces and retails for $39.99. The set includes the Sakaaran, Nebula, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot. You also get a little ship (with claws) for Rocket plus a playset for the figures.

Unfortunately for Rocket, there's a laser cannon that can be used to shoot him down.

What is good for Rocket is the fact that this set includes Groot. Groot is an oversized figure and can help out with crashed ships.

Rocket also has a big old gun he can use on others. It is a little big and heavy for the little LEGO figure. But as long as you place him on a LEGO base, he can easily hold it and aim at other figures.

You can also put Rocket on Groot's shoulders, just like in the trailer (and movie).

Now it's time to take on the Sakaaran and anyone else that might show up.

You might have noticed Groot's hands. His fingers can move, allow him a slight ability to grab things.

The top of the base has a trap door. There's a little pin on the side that lets you pop the door open. It could be used to drop unsuspecting victims or perhaps to make a quick getaway.

There is also the ability to make the tower "blow up." By pushing the circular part of the base (that Groot is standing on), the tower flies away.

Because of Groot's size, he can easily catch Rocket.
There's also the ability to shoot other things at the heroes.

Let's not forget there's Nebula. She comes with a couple swords. Will her swords stand a chance against wood?

Looks like Nebula can cut off Groot's hand.
But hey, what's Rocket doing with the Sakaaran's gun?

Poor Groot. But he could probably just grown a new one, right?

The set also comes with an orb. This apparently plays a bit of a role in the movie.

Wait a second, what's that burry thing popping into the picture?

Ah, it's LEGO Star-Lord. He comes in a couple other sets, not this one. Pretty sneaky, huh?
That's it for this week. Here's links to our other Guardians of the Galaxy items we featured:
