According to Hollywood Reporter, Ales Kot's book at Image, ZERO, may be coming to a television screen near you. ZERO is an espionage story which features a collaboration with numerous artists on the series. With ZERO, Kot wanted to explore "war, violence, nature and nurture... Each project has to come from a true place — and in this case, I had to face my own darkness, both in terms of genetic and cultural heritage. It's easy to wallow in the pain, but to create something new out of it — that was the goal."

Kot didn't want to sell the rights to the book and wanted to be a part of the creative process when it came to putting the show together, so he wrote the pilot script himself and he signed with WME. As of now, there is no set release for the show nor has it been picked up yet because the series is still in development, but Kot stated the series will be different than what fans know from the books:

"The TV series is not the same as the comic...but it has a very similar high-strung energy, an interest in many of the same themes and an atmosphere that lies at the intersection of a stylized, adrenaline-heavy action thriller and an existential spy horror. It's an exploration of the secret superagent archetype, of American dreams and of American dread — an examination of privacy, security, freedom and what we do for them."

More news on the potential ZERO television series as it develops.
