Each week we search the internet for the best comic book art that will never actually appear in comics. The reason they won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs and websites. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites.

Michael Cho posted this cool Superman, Batman and Robin pic he did for a friend on his blog.

Rod Reis posted these 40s Batman pics along with a sketch of Migthor on his Tumblr.

Check out this Bing Crosby pic Phil Noto posted on his Tumblr.

Marcio Takara's commission list is now officially closed. He mentioned it might not open again until July or so. Hopefully he'll still post art on his Tumblr. Here's some sketches and the finished Buffy pic he posted this week.

Chris Giarrusso posted some more new art on his website.

Chris Samnee posted a couple sketches on his blog this week.

Brian Hurtt posted a Batman commission on his blog. Check out the pencils and finished product.

Joel Gomez posted a sketch cover and some sketch cards on his Tumblr.

Mahmud Asrar posted some pre-commissions for Expocomic 2013 in Madrid on his Tumblr.

Skottie Young did some more Daily Sketches on his website. He still has some art for sale HERE.

Brett Booth posted the pencils to SUPERMAN #29 along with a sketch of the Shadow on his blog.

Mike McKone posted some more sketches on his Twitter page, including the completed Black Cat we saw earlier. It was colored by @iscariotic.

Peter Nguyen posted an Avengers/JLA team-up sketch on his Tumblr.

Here's a Big Barda sketch Gene Gonzales posted on his blog as part of his "Conventionless Sketches."

Philip Tan posted this sketch of Gambit on his Facebook page.

This weekend marks the final digital issue of BATMAN: LI'L GOTHAM. To honor the series, Dustin Nguyen posted this pic of Damian on his Tumblr.

That's it for this week. It's hard to say if we'll have an installment next week. It'll depend on whether or not the artists update their pages. Keep your eyes peeled.
