Each week we take a close look at a comic book collectible. That means we take it out of the package. This week we're looking that well-dressed nemesis of Batman - Ra's al Ghul.

From MattyCollector, this is the November selection for Club Infinite Earths. As is usually the case (and a reason to consider getting a membership for the series), the figure is sold out. These figures tend to pop up on eBay and tend to be set close to the $20 retail price. The packaging is similar to the others in this line.

This is a figure where you can see the attitude the character possesses. This is a figure where the arm articulation comes in handy so you can pose him so he oozes that attitude.

One thing you might have noticed is this appears to be a younger version of Ra's. Perhaps he just emerged from a Lazarus Pit. Either that or he's been dying his hair. It's interesting since the art on the box shows him with the touch of gray in his hair.

Is this a perfect figure? Alas, there are some areas you could gripe or nit-pick about. His suit looks fine but when you raise his arm or arms, it almost looks like the sleeves are too long for him.

If we're being honest, Ra's looks pretty snazzy in his suit but there's almost a lack of detail. But the figure does come with one accessory. Ra's al Ghul is a master swordsman.

Another problem with the figure is his cape is a little heavy. It weighs him down a little. But, with the articulation, you can put him into different action poses.

A couple things you might notice when you look at the full shots. The first is this body might seem a little familiar. The suit is the same that their Phantom Stranger figure has (which we featured HERE).
The second thing is some of the articulation really results in noticeable joints.

It's a cool figure. There's been different Ra's al Ghul figures over the years (and some have been pretty bad). It feels a little cheap that the body has been re-used but if you're a fan of Ra's, this is one more figure to add to your collection.
What are your thoughts on this figure? Does it do Ra's justice?
