September is a huge months for the folks over at DC. Back in 2011, they kicked off The New 52 during the month and last year they celebrated with a volley of zero issues to explore origin stories. This year, though, they're celebrating the evil characters in their universe. Chatting with Buzzfeed, Co-Publishers Dan DiDio and Jim Lee told the website that the events in Trinity War will lead to their famous foes getting more focus. Their time to shine will come in a story called Forever Evil, an arc which will serve as The New 52's "first major crossover."

The seven issue limited-series will invade plenty of pre-existing titles but USA TODAY revealed it'll spawn a few new ones. First up is Forever Evil: Rogues. Written by Brian Buccellato and illustrated by Patrick Zircher, this book will of course focus on Flash's group of enemies. Then there's Forever Evil: Arkham War by Peter Tomasi and Scot Eaton. Geoff Johns described this as "the biggest story with Bat-villains you'll ever see." Lastly, there's Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S. with Matt Kindt. This series will revolve around Steve Trevor and how he'll respond to all of the shady actions ARGUS is taking.

To help promote the month, DC released a slew of images (click the covers for "3D motion").

When asked if any of the villains will branch off into their own series, DiDio stated, "There is a definite chance of that, and we’re still discussing that right now, as a matter of fact." Also worth noting for Batman fans: DiDio said Hush will not be involved in Forever Ever, but they do indeed have "such big plans" for him down the road.

Viners, would you want to see any of the above villains get their own ongoing series?

UPDATE

DC has released 3 more 3D motion covers. Additionally, CBR has exclusives for a few more Bat villains. September definitely looks like it'll be an expensive month if you're fond of Bruce's enemies.
