As much as I enjoyed the first annual for THE FLASH, being a continuation from a story running in the regular series was a slight problem. Annuals should be self-contained, yet important to continuity, stories. That's exactly what we're getting in THE FLASH ANNUAL #2.
When the New 52 started in JUSTICE LEAGUE #1, we saw that Barry Allen, the Flash, and Hal Jordan, Green Lantern, already knew each other. We've been left wondering what their relationship was and how they met in this continuity. Now Brian Buccellato is telling the story of that meeting.
