Every week we take a close look at a cool comic book collectible. Here's a massive one that deserves a lot of attention. You may have already seen the video at the top of the page. We're going to check out the Batman Armory with Batman Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys.

You can find the full details here: http://bit.ly/getbatarmory
This is a huge set. The box it came in was over 22" long. You'll have a bit of work to do before you're ready to put it all on display. We've looked at different figures from Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles. This is a figure and more. Here's what you'll see when you start removing everything from the box.

When I was filming the unboxing. I had to stop the camera and just take everything in. I actually ended up finishing the vid on another day. There's just so many different pieces. It's almost a little intimidating.

The crazy thing is all these little pieces need to be removed from their trays and put back inside the actual armory. At least it's in the same order so it goes faster than you'd think.
What's cool about the Batman figure is you have a lot of options. You can hang it inside the armory as an empty suit or replace the head to give it an actual one. There's even different faces so you have your choice of expressions. The one he has in the package is his smiling face, according to my daughter.

Once it's all set up, you can place the suit inside. There's a little sign at the bottom that states this is from The Dark Knight. You can get a peek inside to see what lies beneath the metal-screened door.

When you open the doors, it's like you're looking at an actual prop display.

If you look closely at the top, you can see what appears to be lights. Well, there is a remote that is included. It looks like it'll unlock the Batmobile but it's really a remote to turn the lights on and off.

There are drawers full of Bat-gadgets. Each one can slide out and rotate a little for a better look at what they hold.

This is where you have to decide how you want to display this set. Do you want the armory to contain the Bat-suit or do you want to have a Batman figure from The Dark Knight?

Once you remove the suit, you can change the head and hands and add the cape. With the head, you the different mouths to choose from. As with other Hot Toys figures, the eyes and teeth are pretty real looking. That also makes it a little freaky.
To make it even freakier, there's a little knob inside the head. Using a little tool that is included, you can position his eyes however you want.
I am simply blown away by this set. Hot Toys have outdone themselves. This is a set that deserves to be put on display.
