Marvel's Agent Carter is still a little ways off but some new casting news has been announced. James D'Arcy will be playing a character familiar to those that read the comics or have just watched the movies. It looks like we'll be seeing Edwin Jarvis on the show.
According to Variety via The Wrap, D'Arcy has been cast as Howard Stark's butler. This isn't too far off from the comics.
Agent Carter features Hayley Atwell reprising her role as Peggy Carter, picking up her life after the "death" of Captain America in The First Avenger. If you saw the Marvel One-Shot extra feature on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray, you saw she was on her way to starting S.H.I.E.L.D. with Howard Stark.
We also know that Tony Stark calls his home computer system J.A.R.V.I.S. Perhaps eventually we'll discover what happened to Jarvis in the present of the Cinematic Universe. I supposed he'd be a little on the old side by now.
Agent Carter will have a mid-season premiere. What are your thoughts on Jarvis being included in the show?
