Each week we search for the greatest comic book art you won't see in actual comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their sites, blogs, and Tumblrs. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.

Mike Deodato is busy shaking things up in the pages of ORIGINAL SIN but check out this Thing homage to Jack Kirby's "This Man...This Monster" he posted on his Tumblr.

Ryan Stegman is at Special Edition: NYC and will be at HeroesCon the week after. Check out this Wolverine commission he posted on his Tumblr and this nice pic of an unamused Medusa.

Marcio Takara will also be at Special Edition: NYC. He posted on his Tumblr that this colored Spider-Man pic will be available as a print at the show.

Dustin Nguyen posted some Bat-related art on his Tumblr. He made the Damian bookmark for his LIL GOTHAM editor.

Philip Tan posted a couple new sketches on his Facebook page this week.

Joel Gomez posted some commissions from Phoenix Comic-Con on his Tumblr this week.

Reilly Brown will also be in New York. He posted this Deadpool image on his Tumblr and you can get a print at the show. He also posted a Magik pic there.

Agnes Garbowska posted some commissions from Phoenix Comic-Con on her Tumblr.

Ryan Ottley posted this old version of Lobo on his Tumblr. (He had previously posted just the penciled version).

Paolo Rivera posted an Elektra commission from March on his blog along with a Sinister Twelve commission he's working on.

Freddie E. Williams II posted a couple new sketches on his TwitPic page this week.

Kevin Wada posted some commissions on his Tumblr.

Denis Medri posted some steampunk Spider-Man sketches on his Deviant Art page.

Kris Anka will also be at Special Edition NY and posted this sketch on his Tumblr.

Yildiray Cinar posted a bunch of commissions on his Instagram page.

Todd Nauck was super busy at Phoenix Comic-Con and posted a bunch of sketches on his Tumblr. But someone needs to fess up. Whose Spider-Man and a Cactus is this? Looks like something perfect for a Mystery Art Challenge.

That's it for this week. There's a few conventions going on this weekend (which we sadly won't be at any). Hopefully this means we'll be seeing loads of more great art next time.
