As we hungrily await the next issue of AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE, Archie Comics was kind enough to share a couple pages of issue #5. The series has caught many off guard and is not just another zombie story. There has been a lot of heart and emotion in the issues as we see these familiar and lovable characters thrusted into a dark and terrifying world. We've been on the edge of our seats since the first issue.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa: "I don’t think any of us quite knew where we would end up, at the conclusion of this first arc, when we began this tale. And we definitely weren’t prepared for the response we’ve gotten from Archie fans and horror fans, which has been overwhelming and humbling. Rest assured, this is just the beginning for our hapless survivors. Next issue brings us a Sabrina stand-alone, and then we’re hitting the road with Archie and his surviving gals and pals—and believe me, things are going to get much, much worse…"
