On May 16th, Godzilla makes its way back onto the big screen in what is looking to be an incredibly epic film. IMAX decided to have a pretty cool fan art contest in which the winner will win a trip to Los Angeles, among a few other things. All fans have to do is draw Godzilla. Here's the official information.
IMAX® PUTS FANS TO THE TEST IN GODZILLA FAN ART COMPETITION
IMAX® has teamed up with Warner Bros. Pictures to challenge fans to create the most epic, larger-than-life Godzilla poster for a chance to win a trip for two to Los Angeles, a Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour and a chance to see the film at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatres IMAX where their artwork will be on-display for all to see!
The pressure is on for artists who choose to enter the contest as Godzilla director Gareth Edwards will be judging the submitted artwork and selecting the winner who captures the true essence of the upcoming movie, which arrives in IMAX® 3D on May 16.
Participants can find inspiration from the story of Godzilla or choose to focus on the scope and scale of the monster. The guidelines require the artwork to be original and BADASS!
