Tom DeFalco and Walter Simonson Bring the Thunder to ARCHIE

Archie Comics have continued doing the same thing for years yet what some don't realize is they're constantly mixing things up and adding new twists.

Today, Archie released the news that Tom DeFalco and Walter Simonson will be teaming up for a special issue of ARCHIE.

October's ARCHIE #648 will have a story written by DeFalco with a cover by Simonson. Fernando Ruiz will provide art for the interior. Both DeFalco and Simonson are known for their runs on THE MIGHT THOR over at Marvel. Award-winning colorist Laura Martin will provide the colors. DeFalco actually started out working at Archie before moving on to become the Editor-in-Chief at Marvel. This marks Simonson's first work for Archie.
