According to Variety, Walt Disney Company chief Bob Iger said that Pixar is not only planning a third Cars movie but also a sequel to the 2004 hit The Incredibles. Fans have been clamoring for a sequel to the film, which brought in $631 million in 2004 alone, and the characters have been some of the biggest sellers from the Disney Infinity game.
Most likely, we won't be seeing this sequel until 2017, since Pixar already has Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, and Finding Dory, the seqeul to Finding Nemo, planned up until 2016. However, Pixar will be rereleasing The Incredibles in theaters, in 3D, in the near future.
We'll let you know more as it happens.
