Most of us read comic books and love flipping through the pages, but how often do we get a chance to actually purchase original artwork from the comic? Believe it or not, you can find tons of original artwork for sale all over the Internet. While there is a lot of affordable art, we'll be showing you some not so affordable artwork we found. Let's get right into the awesomeness you can buy on the net.

DEAL OF THE WEEK: MOON KNIGHT #1, Page 4

I know I literally just said this is all about unafforable art, but when I saw Cadence Comic Art was selling every page of MOON KNIGHT #1, drawn by Declan Shalvey, I knew it had to appear on here because maybe one of you could pick it up. Most of the pages to this issue have already been sold, but as of right this moment, as I type this, you can buy this page for $300. As far as original comic pages go, by a pretty well-known artist, that's pretty dang cheap.

ELEKTRA: ASSASSIN #8, Page 9

It's rare to see fully colored work available for purchase, especially artwork from a book written by Frank Miller. This piece, however, was painted by Bill Sienkiewicz and comes to us from the website Anthony's Comic Book Art.This piece of art, which fans originally saw in print in 1987, will cost you $14,500. What would you rather have? A decent used car or this pretty awesome piece of art, featuring Elektra?

INCREDIBLE HULK #3, Page 10

Looking at this page from INCREDIBLE HULK #3, you might be thinking, "what's so special about this?" This page, coming from Romita Man, is pencilled by none other than the late, great Jack Kirby and inked by the just as legendary Dick Ayers. It's pretty obviously that the art of one of the father's of Marvel comics is going to be highly-sought after. But how does that translate to price? Well, this particular piece will run you $24,000.

Covers to HELLBLAZER #245 & #246

Taking a look at something a bit more recent, here is the covers to HELLBLAZER #245 and #246.Both of these interlocking covers come from artist Lee Bermejo. If you're interested in actually buying this beautiful original art, you'll have to head over to Splash Page Comic Art and shell out $4,000. Lots of times, when you see a price this high, you tend to turn away, but for me, this one of those cases where if I was super-rich, I'd pick this up. Go ahead, judge me!

Cover to BRAVE & THE BOLD #34

Our last piece is a bit of a doozy! Coming to us from Romatiaman, we have the original cover to BRAVE & THE BOLD #34. There's a few things that make this cover extremely special. First and foremost, it's first first appearance of the Silver Age version of Hawkman. The other big deal about this cover is that it was pencilled and inked by comic book legend Joe Kubert. What do you have to pay to own the original pencils and inks for such a historic comic book? Only $140,000! You have a pretty easy choice here. Either you can fully pay off a small house or you can own this cover!

While all of these prices, except for Moon Knight, are a little up there, each of the sites listed above do have affordable comic book pages for fans, as long as you don't mind searching. There you have it! We'll see you guys next week when we talk about some comic book collectibles for sale on the net!

Mat "Inferiorego" Elfring is a writer, joke teller, twitter guy, podcaster, and does NOT want you to buy him anything in this piece.
