It's time once again to check out the best comic art that won't be seen in actual comics. The reason they won't is because artists often do sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their websites, blogs and Tumblrs. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out for more information.

Marcus To was at HeroesCon last weekend and posted a bunch of commissions on his Tumblr page! Marcus mentioned that Laura Martin did the colors on the Wonder Woman piece.

Philip Tan was also at HeroesCon. We saw his Day 1 sketches last week but he posted some more on his Facebook page since.

In case you weren't aware, Warner Bros is putting out a little movie called Man of Steel. Here's a sketch of the main character, Superman, by Daniel HDR, posted on his Tumblr.

Agnes Garbowska posted some sketches from Phoenix Comicon on her Tumblr. The one you might not recognize is Ghoulia Yelps. I only know who she is because of my daughter.

Last week we saw a bunch of art from Todd Nauck at HeroesCon. As you might have guessed, he posted a bunch more on his Tumblr.

Brett Booth is back and posted a couple Superman-related sketches on his blog.

Francesco FrancavillaTweeted a few sketches this week. I believe these are also from HeroesCon.

Paolo Rivera also was at HeroesCon and posted a couple sketches on his blog.

Joel Gomez posted a Justice League commission on his Tumblr as well as a version colored by Beth Sotelo.

Mitch Breitweiser posted some art from HeroesCon on his Tumblr.

Dustin Nguyen posted a Madman commission from last summer on his Tumblr. Have I mentioned that I dig the character before?

Last week we saw Denis Medri's Justice League Western Aquaman. He posted a couple more on his Deviant Art Page.

Robert Atkins shared his thoughts on Snake Eyes vs X-23 this week. Check out the recent sketches he posted on his blog.

Gene Gonzales was pretty busy at HeroesCon. He posted a bunch of sketches on his blog. Here's some but head over there to see the rest.

Marcio Takara also posted some sketches from HeroesCon on his Tumblr. There's some others there as well.

Chris Giarrusso, the creator of the otherG-Man, often posts 'fan art' on his website. Sometimes professional artists, like Jeremy Dale, send in their versions.

Ryan Stegman is at the Las Vegas Con this weekend and posted some quick sketches on his Tumblr including a Spider-Man on a skateboard. It's an actual skateboard. That does sound like the topic for a Mystery Art Challenge.

Michael Walsh is currently working on THE X-FILES, coming soon from IDW. Check out his Darth Vader posted on his Tumblr. Wonder what Mulder would think of Vader.

Sean "Cheeks" Galloway posted this great Spider-Man pic on his Deviant Art Page.

That's it for this week. I'll sort of be on vacation next week but I'll do my best to gather up more awesoem art for the next post!
