Comic books are a collectible item and a relatively cheap collectible at that. If you're a visitor to this site, then there's a very good chance you own a few. However, even within this market, there are still some very collectible items for fans to pick up, but those items come at a cost. In "Buy Me This," we take a look at some super-cool, yet super-expensive collectibles available on the Internet for comic book fans or even science-fiction fans to own. We'll be rotating what types of collectibles we'll take a look at every week, and this week, we're checking out movie props and replicas.

Biff Tannen's Jacket from Back to the Future 2

It may not be a direct comic book related item, but the Back to the Future series is one of the greatest sci-fi trilogies in all of nerdom. This item comes to us from iCollector, but you just can't downright buy the jacket. You'll have to win it in a bid. The bidding for this jacket begins on March 15th and has the starting price of $5,000. This was the jacket actor Thomas F. Wilson, who played Biff Tannen, wore in the 'Enchantment Under the Sea' dance scenes in the second Back to the Future film. Now, you, too, can wear this jacket and drive your car into a manure truck, while chasing around that pesky Calvin Klein.

Star Wars: A New Hope: Obi-Wan Lightsaber Replica

If you haven't used an empty wrapping paper cardboard tubing as a lightsaber, you haven't lived. Well, now you can own the real thing... kinda. Coming from Prop Store us this replica of the lightsaber prop Obi Wan used in Star Wars A New Hope. It's mostly made out of aluminium and measures in at 3.5" x 2.5" x 11" and shows a bit of wear in the paint to match its on-screen counterpart. If you're looking to pick this awesome piece up, it will cost you $1,245, but it'll probably be oh so worth it.

The Tesseract from Captain America: The First Avenger

I am as stunned as you are that this is actually for sale. We found this puppy on eBay. That means you can own the Cosmic Cube... I mean "Tesseract." This is the actual prop from the movie, believe it or not, and if you end up purchasing this, you'll get a certificate of authenticity from Marvel Studios. Here's the downside, you'll have to shell out $30,000 to own it or make the seller a reasonable offer; however, this item has been on sale since July of 2012, so it may not be going anywhere any time fast. But how cool would this be to show your friends, right before they laugh at you for spending $30,000 on a plastic cube with champagne bubbles in it?

There you have it! We'll see you guys next week when we talk about some cool original art for sale on the net!
