Each week we search for the best comic book art that you won't see in actual comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their websites, blogs and Tumblrs. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.

As we wait for Todd Nauck's first issue of NIGHTCRAWLER (with Chris Claremont), we can check out some other art he posted on his Tumblr. You'll be hearing more from Todd later this week.

Marcio Takara has been posting some pre-ECCC commissions on his Tumblr. We saw the penciled version of his Storm and Wolverine pic last week but now we can see the final image.

Ryan Stegman has been doing some daily sketches and posting them on his Tumblr. He puts them up for sale so you'll want to keep an eye out there. How long until his WOLVERINE series comes out?

Mahmud Asrar posted some sketches on his Tumblr this week.

Skottie Young posted some daily sketches on his Tumblr as well. He's now putting them up for sale on Fridays or Saturdays rather then right when he first posts them. He's also itching to do a Harry Potter comic. Someone needs to make that happen.

Paolo Rivera recently had an eight-page story in BATMAN: BLACK AND WHITE #5. He posted this Batman study on his blog this week.

Joel Gomez posted some more sketch covers and sketch cards on his Tumblr.

Peter Nguyen posted this quick sketch of the A+X buddies he drew for a friend on his Tumblr.

Mike McKone posted a few sketches on his Twitter page this week.

Check out this Thing sketch Yildiray Cinar posted on his Instagram page.

Chris Giarrusso posted some sketches on his website this week.

R.B. Silva posted a couple Flash sketches on his Instagram.

Gene Gonzales is opening his commission window for a bit. You can get more information and rates on his blog. Only twenty spots open!

You all might know I really like Moon Knight. You can imagine my reaction when I saw this commission Rod Reis posted on his Tumblr.

Here's where we bend the rules a tiny bit. You might be aware that Francis Manapul did a flashback sequence in this week's BATWOMAN #27. Here's a look at some process art for the sequence. Check out his Tumblr or buy the issue to see the finished version.

That's it for this week. This week was pretty drool-worthy. Which ones did you dig the most?
