Each week we search for the coolest comic art that you won't see in comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, websites and Tumblrs. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites.
Here's one I meant to post last week. Dennis Calero posted this Wolverine commission on his Twitter page.

Paolo Rivera posted this great Fantastic Four piece he did back in 2007 on his blog. He also posted his contribution to the Cartoon Art Professional Society auction for Stan Sakai. It should be up for auction soon.

Rod Reis posted an old Batman pic he did using oil pastels on his Tumblr.

Yildiray Cinar posted some more sketches on his Tumblr. Check out the sketch he did at an airport, his Hellboy warm up, the penciled splash page for SUPERGIRL #27 (you can see the full preview HERE) and a Red Lantern Supergirl pic.

Chris Giarrusso posted some more art on his website. Some of them are available for purchase so check it out.

Check out the commission Marco Rudy posted on his Facebook page.

Tom Raney posted this Black Bolt sketch on his Twitter page.

Brett Booth usually posts a new sketch each week on his blog. This time it's Dark Phoenix.

There's still some DC characters we're waiting to see in the New 52. Gene Gonzales posted this punk Donna Troy sketch on his blog.

Dustin Nguyen posted this Batman sketch on his Tumblr. Imagine Batman actually calling someone "Sucka."

Joel Gomez posted some new sketches on his Tumblr this week. Mister Miracle is a commission for Amazing Arizona ComicCon.

Marcio Takara posted some new sketches in different stages on his Tumblr. He'll post the finished sketches later.

Here's a Wolverine sketch Daniel HDR posted on his Tumblr.

Skottie Young posted some more Daily Sketches on his Tumblr. He usually puts them up for sale in his online store as well.

J. Scott Campbell posted this Black Canary sketch he did a few years ago on his Instagram. It was part of a large jam piece that other artists added to. Too bad we can't see the final product.

It was announced that Todd Nauck will be the artist on an upcoming NIGHTCRAWLER series (written by Chris Claremont). Check out his Nightcrawler and Hulk he posted on his Tumblr.

We're still waiting for Ryan Stegman's WOLVERINE series. He posted some sketched version of his art on his Tumblr.

Francis Manapul, once again posted a big process post on his Tumblr for the cover to DETECTIVE COMICS #30.

That's it for this week. Be sure to look for the next installment.
