Every week we gather up the best comic book art that will not be seen in actual comics. The reason they won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs and websites. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.
This weekend is HeroesCon and, sadly, I didn't make it there. But Todd Nauck will be there (at Table AA-911). Be sure to get to him early if you're looking for a commission. Check out the sketches he's posted on his Tumblr and Instagram page. He also posted a lot from Friday on his Twitter Page.

Skottie Young posted a Hellboy sketch on his Tumblr that will be up for auction at HeroesCon. He'll also have a new sketchbook for sale, which will be sold on his website at the end of June.

Marcio Takara is also at HeroesCon. He posted some pre-con sketches on his Tumblr and Instagram.

Paolo Rivera will be at HeroesCon as well. Here's a couple recent commissions he posted on his blog.

Mitch and Bettie Breitweiser are going to be there also. Be sure to track them down (they're at AA-901/902). Here's Mitch's first sketch there posted on his Tumblr.

You can also find Phil Noto at HeroesCon. He posted a Neon Genesis Evangelion 'quick sketch' from Wizard World Philly on his Tumblr along with an unused cover idea from BATGIRL #3 (with Stephanie Brown).

Philip Tan is ALSO at HeroesCon. Why am I not there? He posted an X-23 sketch earlier this week on his Facebook Page and added some sketches from yesterday as well.

Tom Fowler? Yup, he's also at HeroesCon. Here's a couple sketches he posted yesterday on his Twitter.

Gene Gonzales is at HeroesCon as well. Check out the Magik sketch he posted on his blog.

Agnes Garbowska is not at HeroesCon but she will be at Albuquerque, NM on June 21-23. Here's some recent sketches she posted on her Tumblr. Yes, that last one was a commission request for Bob Dylan.

Denis Medri posted some more sketches on his Deviant Art Page. Check out his Justice League Western re-design of Aquaman.

Joel Gomez added some more sketches to his Tumblr from PhoenixComiCon.

We'll bend the rules a little here for Terry Dodson. He posted the penciled version of his variant cover for New Avengers #7 on his Deviant Art Page. It's a House of M variant. He also posted a Superman sketch from Big Wow.

Jonboy Meyers updated his website with a bunch of new art. You can find more over there.

Dave Bullock posted a great Rocketeer sketch over on his Deviant Art Page.

You may have heard this mentioned on the podcast a couple weeks ago but CJ from the community got this Brent Anderson sketch of Confessor from ASTRO CITY at Big Wow and wanted to share it with us.

We got another image sent from the community. Fred shared this with me through his Twitter. You gotta love a George Perez Donna Troy.

Tony Daniel posted a few sketches on his Instagram page.

Freddie Williams II posted a bunch of art on his TwitPic page (and I didn't even post all of it here). He's definitely been busy lately.

Man oh man, what a week. I imagine we'll be seeing some more from HeroesCon next week.
