Each week we sift through our buy pile and choose the week's best looking comic book covers. This week was pretty tough and there were a heck of a lot of covers we loved. Check out our favorites below. As always, if there is a cover that we miss that happens to be your favorite, feel free to post it below!

Artist Dave Sim illustrates the cover to THE COLONIZED #3, a very cool cover with a sort of Silver Age comics sort of feel. The image is an action shot featuring very subtle colors and thin inks, but beautiful nonetheless.

DAREDEVIL: DARK KNIGHTS # 1's cover by artist Lee Weeks is a bit abstract, but it's really pretty. The image depicts Daredevil hovering on the horizon of a city scape, in the midst of the falling snow. It's

Artist Adam Hughes' cover to FAIREST #16 is absolutely breathtaking. Not only are the pencils for the image stunning, but the artist also adds gorgeous colors to highlight the image.

Artist Jae Lee is very good at capturing a brooding, dark character and his cover for BLACK BAT #2 is a perfect example of exactly that. The picture is dark, and Black Bat looks fantastic.

We don't only love comic books, we love video games too. That's one reason why we absolutely loved artist Mark Brooks''Street Fighter' inspired cover to FEARLESS DEFENDERS #5 is absolutely perfect and made us reminisce about one of our favorite games just a teeny bit.

The DAREDEVIL: END OF DAYS #8 cover by Alex Maleev is also one of our favorites from this week's new comic releases. The image is simple and really focuses on Daredevil's physical strength. The result is a very cool image.

Finally we have Francesco Francavilla's cover to THE LONE RANGER #15, and it is absolutely breathtaking. Francavilla is a fantastic artist and he really utilizes perspective to illustrate a stunning cover to this comic.

Those are some of our favorite comic covers, what are some of yours? Let us know in the comments section what your favorite covers were from this week and which of our picks made your list.
