Every week we gather up the coolest comic book art that you won't see in actual comic books. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun for commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs and websites. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.

Todd Nauck posted some more sketches on his Tumblr.

DETECTIVE COMICS #27 came out and Sean Murphy did an amazing story with Scott Snyder. He posted this UNUSED page on his Deviant Art Page. Unused? That's insane.

Tom Raney posted this commission on his Twitter page.

Brett Booth posted a Blue Beetle sketch on his blog. Will we ever see him in the New 52?

It was announced this week at Image Expo that Rod Reis would be doing the art for Kyle Higgins new book, C.O.W.L. Check out these character designs he posted on his Tumblr.

Jeff Wamester posted this steampunk Superman sketch on his site. It might be for a group of steampunk variants that were announced this week. Full details haven't been revealed just yet.

J. Scott Campbell posted this commission he did a few years ago on his Instagram.

Chris Giarrusso posted a bunch of new art on his site this week. Ya gotta love that Zygon!

Check out this warm up sketch Yildiray Cinar posted on his Instagram.

Joel Gomez posted some more sketch cards and covers on his Tumblr.

Daniel HDR posted a couple commissions on his Tumblr this week.

Peter Nguyen posted (finally!) his first sketch of 2014 on his Tumblr.

Marcio Takara posted some sketches on his Tumblr. Can you name them all. You can check your answers on his Tumblr.

Paolo Rivera posted this Ant-Man sketch on his blog. You can bid on it through Sunday HERE.

Mahmud Asrar posted some new new art on his Tumblr.

Skottie Young posted some Star Wars art on his Tumblr.

Francis Manapul posted some more process art. This is for a sequence he's actually doing in BATWOMAN. You can find out why and see the final glorious version on his Tumblr.

That's it for this week. Be sure to check back for the next installment.
